EVERY PLACE HAS A STORY
I'm Rita Kartalyan; a Realtor by profession and storyteller by nature.
I've always believed that every home has a story, every town has a history, and every forgotten place has something to teach us. Whether I'm helping a family find the right home, exploring an abandoned building, researching the words of our Founding Fathers, or writing about places where history and legend intertwine, I'm driven by one simple question:
What's the story behind it?
This publication brings together many of the things I'm passionate about. You'll find articles on real estate, historic places, forgotten communities, local discoveries, gothic and paranormal lore, travel, and the fascinating people who shaped the places we know today. Some posts will be practical, others reflective, and a few may even send a chill down your spine.
More than anything, I hope this becomes a place for curious minds—people who enjoy learning something new, seeing familiar places through a different lens, and appreciating the stories that often go unnoticed.
Many of the stories I write are about preserving places and remembering the past. In much the same way, I'm honored to support We Not Me Farms Ministries and its vision of creating sustainable, chemical-free farms funded through community thrift stores. It is a mission rooted in faith, compassion, stewardship, and the belief that lasting change begins by serving others.
