12 large fresh strawberries, washed and dried
1 cup dark chocolate chips (60–70% cocoa)
¼ cup white chocolate chips
12 small pretzel sticks
12 small round candies
12 wooden skewers or lollipop sticks
Instructions:
Insert a skewer into the stem end of each strawberry, leaving 1 inch exposed.
Melt dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl (30-second intervals, stirring until smooth).
Dip each strawberry fully in dark chocolate, holding the skewer. Attach a round candy to the tip while wet. Let excess drip off. Place on parchment-lined tray; chill 10 minutes.
Using a piping bag, drizzle thin lines of dark chocolate around each strawberry, top to bottom, for a textured effect. Chill 5 minutes.
Remove skewer; insert a pretzel stick into the small candy, pushing in to secure.
Melt white chocolate; drizzle or pipe a thin layer around the top section (near the pretzel) to form the broom’s binding. Chill 10 minutes to set.
Serve upright in a gothic display (e.g., black velvet tray) for a bewitching effect.
